Emerson Hospital identified a need and an opportunity as the distant and affluent suburbs of Westford. Harvard and Littleton expanded at a feverish pace. The undeserved area was ideal for a multi-disciplinary health care center.

What began as a search to relocate a 2,500 square-foot pediatric practice resulted in a 43,000 square-foot multi-specialty healthcare center with 10 individual and independently owned practices. Assisting with site selection, interior design and construction. By Design helped put the Emerson Hospital Health Center in Westford, at the center of the fast-growing region. It's conveniently located in the Westford Technology Park on Route 110, just minutes from Route 495.

The Emerson Hospital Health Center provides non-emergency health care including internal medicine physicians and pediatricians as well as diagnostic services including radiology, mammography, ultrasound and lab services. Additionally, specialists in cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, podiatry, dermatology and rehabilitation also are available.

The Center uses two of the three floors in a 65,000 square-foot building. Nearly 2,500 square-feet are dedicated to conference and classroom space used both by physician and community groups.
